We all want to use the Bible to encourage ourselves and others, and we need to handle God’s precious word faithfully while doing that. Trying to speak truth about purpose, being fearless, and living courageously can sometimes lead us to have the right idea while using the wrong passage. Truths about God’s favor, protection, and purposes are plentiful in the Bible, but we should not lose focus of “context.”
